Welcome to this blog!

So welcome to my brand new shiny blog!

This blog aims to share practical ideas and resources for using technology in the EFL classroom. It has been created as a reaction to the many training workshops and presentations I have given where I have been asked how to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in technology and EFL.

While this blog is not intended to be exhaustive, it does aim to cover as wide a range of uses for technology in EFL as possible, with practical ideas that can be incorporated into lessons. The focus is on the practical rather than the theory, so please do feed back on the success (or not) you have had in your classes.

There are already a large amount of teachers and researchers working in this field and so on the right-hand side of this blog you will find links to some of the most useful. This blog will no doubt duplicate some of the ideas and resources that have already appeared on these sites, but not with intent to plagiarise - more to reinforce!

Finally, I aim to make this blog as user friendly as possible by using tags according to the kind of technology and the kind of language skill or system that can help develop.

Please do feel free to add comments or get in touch if you have any questions or ideas. Blog on!
